Diagnosis: Sarcomatoid chromophobe renal cell
carcinoma with
extensive chondrosarcomatous-like differentiation and focal rhabdoid
differentiation. Comment: Sarcomatoid transformation may
occur up to 9% of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma and may be unusually
prevalent in some countries like Saudi Arabia. The diffuse
chondrosarcomatous-like differentiation and the focal rhabdoid feature
in this
particular case are very rare events.
