Diagnosis: S. mansoni
calcified eggs in the seminal vesicle and blue nevus in the prostate.
Comment: The
location of these eggs in this particular case is very rare (Figs. 1, 2
and 3).
Blue nevus of the prostate (Figs. 4 and 5) refers to stromal melanin
deposition
and glandular melanosis refers to presence of melanin within epithelial
cells.
Melanotic lesions of the prostate are incidental findings with no
evidence of
malignant transformation.
