Diagnosis: Invasive urothelial
carcinoma with inverted growth pattern, grade 2 (high-grade), stage
pT1.
Comment: The
cytological
features in this particular case are not consistent with inverted
papilloma.
Hyperchromatism, pleomorphism, and mitoses favor urothelial carcinoma.
Additionally, there is focal invasion of the stroma (stage pT1) as seen in Figs. 4 and 5.
